Kick Off The Program Year with Peace (and a very special guest) – August 18
On Sunday August 18, Peace will kick off the program year, and we hope you can be there!
In worship at 10 am, we’ll have a blessing for bags & backpacks for those returning to school (and those continuing to go to work). After worship, there will be extra fellowship treats and displays about the many ministries of Peace…where you will be able to pick up a “passport” to collect clues at each station to receive a secret message…but there’s more!
This year, one central aspect of our life together will be preparing to break ground on the Peace Family Housing Project. So, we will begin with some words of inspiration and shared purpose from Mobile Loaves & Fishes and Community First! Village founder, Alan Graham. Mr. Graham met with members of the housing task force earlier this summer, and offered us wisdom and encouragement…and we can’t wait for him to share his compassion, good humor, and gospel-grounded vision with everyone in worship!
So come in person, or connect online. You can have your backpack or bag handy…Bring some last donations for The Locker at Cedar Park High School…And just generally celebrate the new year that is beginning. Can’t wait to be with you!
